Fire Country Season 5 Release Timeline

Fire Country season 5 doesn’t have a final release date yet, as of this writing. However, looking at the release timeline the series has followed thus far, season 5 is expected to follow the typical production schedule for a late 2026 release as well. This means that chances are that it will remain a fall show, likely to be released by September or October 2026.
Who is in the Cast of Fire Country Season 5?

The cast details of season 5 haven’t been officially announced yet, but fans can expect a major chunk of the original main cast from the previous seasons to return. For one, season 4 starred Max Thieriot as Bode, Kevin Alejandro as Manny, Diane Farr as Sharon, Jordan Calloway as Jake, and Jules Latimer as Eve.
Between seasons 3 and 4, the series lost two series regulars Billy Burke (as Vince) and Stephanie Arcila (as Gabriela). While Vince was killed off, there’s still room for Gabriella’s return, considering she left town. Either way, it remains to be seen if she will return in season 5, or if anyone else further departs the show.
The show was created by Max Thieriot, with Tia Napolitano serving as its showrunner for its run so far. However, Deadline reported that Napolitano has exited at the end of season 4, with Eric Guggenheim coming in to replace her as the showrunner and one of the series’ executive producers for Season 5 (per Deadline).
Other executive producers for this season, besides Thieriot and Guggenheim, include Joan Rater, Tony Phelan, Bill Purple, and JBTV’s Jerry Bruckheimer and KristieAnne Reed.
What is Fire Country All About?

Fire Country season one followed the life of Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption, who joins an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California. There, he and his other inmates have to partner together with elite firefighters to take care of massive, unpredictable wildfires.
Since then, it has covered Bode’s journey from being an inmate firefighter at fire camp to Cal Fire firefighter, working alongside his family and friends in the town of Edgewater. The series has notably been inspired by Thieriot’s own experiences while growing up in Northern California fire country.
This upcoming season is expected to focus on higher-stakes firefighting and personal redemption as California faces unprecedented challenges. Plus, it will also touch down on the emotional loss of character Vince and its impact on the Edgewater crew.
Does Fire Country Season 5 Have a Trailer Yet?

As of this writing, an official trailer for Fire Country season 5 hasn’t been released just yet. While the show was renewed in January 2026, the series is currently in its fourth season, which has been premiering since October 2025 and expected to conclude with its last episode, Not Worth the Risk, on April 24, 2026.
