The release of One Piece Episode 1159 will happen on April 26, 2026, as part of the ongoing Elbaf arc’s weekly schedule. All new episodes are released on Crunchyroll globally after the Japanese TV broadcast and on Netflix with a slight delay in select regions. Currently, Eiichiro Oda’s series is following a seasonal release format with a consistent release of one episode every week.
In Episode 1158 of One Piece, the Straw Hats discovered they were trapped inside a giant-made diorama, which led to absolute chaos while the Straw Hats tried to escape the so-called “Land of Gods.” The story is clearly heading into a much more mysterious and unpredictable direction. And with the so-called “Sun God” now actively chasing them and the truth behind this artificial world only partially revealed, Episode 1159 seems to push the arc forward in a big way.

Spoiler Alert !!!This section contains some spoilers from One Piece Episode 1158.
What to Expect From One Piece Episode 1159
After One Piece Episode 1158, it looks like the Straw Hats are going to keep trying to get out of the giant diorama while being pursued by the mysterious “Sun God.” Since they have now discovered that their environment is all artificial, this has opened up several possibilities for how the story might progress next.
One likely direction is a deeper exploration of the so-called “Sun God” himself. Last episode, it seemed that he was less of a god and more of an overseer in charge of this whole mini-world. One Piece Episode 1159 may give more insight into the Sun God, including what his motivations are, and perhaps why he has put all of these living beings (humans and animals) into this artificial environment.
Also, with Monkey D. Luffy leading the charge and Nami holding onto the blueprint of the set, the crew now has a clearer objective. However, given how unpredictable this arc has already been, it would not be surprising if new obstacles or hidden layers within the diorama appear before they can fully break free.
There is also the larger question of Elbaf itself. Given the similarities between the diorama setting and a land of giants, it is not yet clear whether this is the real Elbaf or just an artificial version created for the show. Episode 1159 may answer all these, either revealing what is outside of the diorama or introducing new characters related to the ancient giant civilization.
