Prime Video‘s Life Is Strange TV show has added five new cast members. The upcoming TV adaptation is based on the hit video game franchise and produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Square Enix, Story Kitchen, and LuckyChap. Previously, Maisy Stella and Tatum Grace Hopkins were added to its cast.
Who has joined the cast of the Life Is Strange TV show?
The new cast members on Prime Video’s live-action Life Is Strange TV series include Billy Barratt (Bring Her Back), Emily Carey (House of the Dragon, Wonder Woman), Esther McGregor (We Were Liars, High School), Faly Rakotohavana (UnPrisoned), and Mia Isaac (The Perfect Couple, Don’t Make Me Go), according to Variety.
The rest of the cast features Tom Cullen, Leisha Hailey, Raúl Castillo, and Owen Teague in key roles. According to the official logline, the video game adaptation centers around Max as she tries to understand her extraordinary abilities while solving the mysterious disappearance of a student alongside Chloe. Their investigation ultimately leads to a huge discovery that forces them to make “an impossible life or death choice that will impact them forever.” The show was officially announced by Prime Video last year.

Life Is Strange TV series has Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson as executive producers, alongside Jen Roskind, Dani Gorin, and Natalie Berkus. Charlie Covell serves as the creator, showrunner, and executive producer on the project.
The upcoming show is based on a video game franchise originally created by Dontnod Entertainment. The narrative-driven series has captivated players for more than a decade, with the original Life Is Strange game surpassing 20 million players across all platforms as of 2023.
The most recent entry in the video game franchise was Life Is Strange: Reunion, launched on March 26, 2026. As for Prime Video’s adaptation, an official release date has yet to be announced.
