Excerpts from DC Comics’ write-up about Supergirl: The World read, “Supergirl has long stood as one of DC’s most inspiring Super Heroes, a symbol of hope, resilience, and compassion. In this new anthology, creators from around the world explore how Kara Zor-El’s story resonates across borders and cultures, and how her mission to protect her adopted home takes on new meaning when viewed through a global lens. Each chapter offers a standalone story rooted in the country that created it, from street-level heroics to sweeping, mythic adventures. Together, they form a portrait of Supergirl that is both universal and deeply personal.”
