Silicobra made its debut in Pokemon Go during the Sustainability Week event, which ran from April 14 to April 20, 2026! During this period, this Pokemon appeared more frequently in the wild. The Pokemon can be typically found in desert-like environments, including beaches, and rocky areas. So, if you’re a trainer living in such regions, you can encounter Silicobra quite easily without much effort. Some community reports also suggested that it has occasionally been spotted in grassy areas.
However, if you don’t live in these types of environments, there’s another way to obtain Silicobra in Pokemon Go, and that’s through trading. If you have a friend on your list who already has a Silicobra, you can trade with them to get one. This is one of the simplest ways to add the Pokemon to your collection.
It’s also crucial to keep in mind that Silicobra currently does not have a Shiny form in Pokemon Go. This means that you won’t be able to obtain a Shiny Silicobra either in the wild or through trading in the game. There’s a chance that a Shiny variant could be introduced in the future event, but Scopely hasn’t stated anything yet.
How to Evolve Silicobra in Pokemon Go?

So, once you have managed to obtain a Silicobra in Pokemon Go, you might be wondering how to evolve it to Sandaconda. Well, trainers, it’s quite easy. All you need to do is obtain 50 Silicobra Candy. So, when you’re out there hunting Pokemon in the wild, make sure to use Pinap berries and activate a Mega Evolution with the Ground-type bonus so you can easily farm the required Candy for the Pokémon.
After you have managed to get enough Candy, all you need to do is choose the Silicobra you want to evolve, and then tap on ‘Evolve’. Once you have managed to do that, you will easily be able to obtain a Sandaconda in Pokemon Go.
Now, is Silicobra worth the grind? For most players, this Pokemon isn’t a great option unless you are into collecting. Silicobra doesn’t rank quite high as a raid attacker, gym defender, or gym attacker either, even with its recommended moves, Mud-Slap and Earth Power.
It’s Evolution Sandaconda, which reaches a maximum CP of 3155 at Level 50, isn’t useful either in Pokemon Go, as it doesn’t perform well as a raid attacker, gym defender, or ground-type attacker in the game. When it comes to PvP, these Pokemon struggle to make an impact as they don’t have the stats needed. However, if you are someone who is just starting out, Sandaconda can still serve as a decent early-game raid attacker.
