Jokes have been pouring out on the internet as fans bust a gut laughing at the situation of the sequel. Of course, given the $207 million earing at the box office on its 150 million dollar budget, an official announcement is yet to confirm that there will be a second Dungeons & Dragons film (which would also be accurate to how some sessions of D&D go).

So, what’s next for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves?
Currently, Dungeons & Dragons is slated to get a TV series for Paramount+, considered to be a “cornerstone” live-action IP. Of course, this is only with regards to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, given that the Dungeons & Dragons TV series is already airing on other platforms, such as The Legend of Vox Machina, based on the D&D sessions of the Critical Role live streams, which, while following the D&D model, is a completely separate IP.

Speaking with Polygon, John Francis Daley, co-director of the film, said that the character that will be continued with will be the same one that is introduced in Honor Among Thieves if there is to be a sequel. Speaking to Variety, Paramount CEO Brian Robbins said that a sequel would have to be much cheaper given the disappointing box office results of the film.
