Set more than 15 years after The Handmaid’s Tale, the new series will explore life inside Gilead through younger characters who grew up under its rule.
The story follows three central figures, Aunt Lydia, Agnes, and Daisy, whose lives connect in unexpected ways. The two young teens: Agnes is dutiful and pious, and Daisy is a newcomer and convert from beyond Gilead’s borders.
