Gwen Stacy will be featured in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2.
Created by Jeff Trammell, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man premiered on Disney+ in January 2025. The Marvel Television series, which is set in a separate timeline from the main MCU films and television series, explores Peter Parker’s origin story and early days as Spider-Man.
With the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 having been released on February 19, 2025, attention now turns to the second season, which is currently in development.
On Instagram, Trammell shared artwork of Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen, confirming that the character will be making her debut in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2.
“The Neighborhood just got a little more Friendly,” Trammell wrote. “See you next season!”

What else do we know about Gwen in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2?
Further plot details for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 remain under wraps at this time. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Gwen made her Marvel Comics debut in 1965’s The Amazing Spider-Man #31. She was a romantic interest for Spider-Man; however, she was then murdered by Green Goblin/Norman Osborn and her death has haunted Peter ever since. While Marvel Comics has recently announced that she will be resurrected in some capacity in a new series coming in May 2025, an alternate universe version of Gwen from Earth-65 has since been introduced as Spider-Gwen. In her world, Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter and then became a superhero.
Gwen has been previously portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard in 2007’s Spider-Man 3 and Emma Stone in the two Amazing Spider-Man movies. Additionally, Hailee Steinfeld voices Spider-Gwen in Sony’s Spider-Verse franchise.
No voice actor for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s Gwen has been announced.
