Woman slams school for giving her kid a difficult homework

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to criticize her kid‘s school for assigning difficult homework that puts undue pressure on parents.

In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the woman expressed frustration, lamenting that the school teaches one thing in class but assigns something entirely different as homework.

According to her, if the assignment were based on what was taught in class, children wouldn’t need their parents’ help to complete it.

She voiced her concerns, saying:

“My child is the one in your class, yet you’re giving me and his father the assignment.”

“You teach them 2+2 in class, then send them home with quadratic equations, stressing both parents in the process.”

“Did we attend the class with them? If the assignment matched what was taught, would they still need our help?”

“We pay school fees, and now we have to do the assignments too? Just say we should also start attending school. As we drop off our kids, we might as well sit in class with them.”
