Nick Frost stole our hearts when he starred alongside Simon Pegg in the utterly funny films from 2004 to 2013. Interestingly, we were not the only ones who were impressed by his on-screen work. Shedding light on famous personalities who loved his Cornetto trilogy, the Harry Potter star named Quentin Tarantino, while talking to The Guardian. 

Frost first detailed that it was his character of Ed from the Zombie apocalypse film Shaun of the Dead that impressed the Pulp Fiction filmmaker. “I’m always amazed that he has pictures of me up in his cinema,” Frost added, also maintaining that he has seen those pictures himself. Sharing his heightened feelings, the HBO Harry Potter star mentioned, 

That’s quite weird – being a fan of cinema as a younger man, and watching Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, then suddenly the director has your stupid face in the foyer of his cinema.

In case you don’t know, the Corenetto trilogy consists of comedy films including Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World’s End (2013). 

The movies don’t have a cohesive storyline, but they feature ice cream references throughout the trilogy. Hence the term ‘Corenetto trilogy’. 

With Frost’s sheer talent, he is all set to appear in the HBO Max wizarding series, Harry Potter. The actor will be taking over the role of Hagrid, the beloved and famous groundskeeper. The character was previously portrayed by the late Robbie Coltrane on the big screen. 

Nick Frost Believed in Magic and It Worked for Him

The Harry Potter reboot is an entry on everyone’s watchlist. While the producers have been grinding hard on the set, someone else has been praying tirelessly in his room. As per The Guardian, Nick Frost has been strongly manifesting his role of Hagrid, watching the Harry Potter films. 

Before I was cast as Hagrid, my partner suggested trying to manifest it. So last Christmas, I watched all the films back to back on the Sky Harry Potter channel, while writing out the word “Hagrid” 7,000 times.

He told the British tabloid. Joining him in the new cast of Harry Potter are Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout as Harry, Hermione, and Ron, respectively. 

Other big names set to appear in Harry Potter HBO Max series are Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall.

HBO Harry Potter Series Finally Has a Release Update

As we are being crushed under the anticipation of the Harry Potter TV series, Casey Bloys has some terrific news to announce. It has been months since we have been hearing that the show will hit the screens in 2027. However, the Chairman and CEO of HBO recently announced a release window. 

Talking to Deadline, Bloys, who is also Head of HBO Max Content, stated, 

I would say, to narrow it down to some extent, early 2027. Nd now you’re going to ask, does that mean January, February, March, April, that we’re not ready to say. I’ll say early 2027.

In case you don’t know, the show entered production in the summer. Harry Potter’s first season will follow the first novel, The Philosopher’s Stone. Collider’s second season, which will adapt the Chamber of Secrets script, will begin after a short break following the completion of the first season.
