Avengers: Doomsday theories are getting wilder day by day. With a lot of characters expected to come back, a new theory points to a major one, Scarlet Witch. In the current Multiversal Saga, we have several characters possessing similar powers. This brings us to a recent social media theory that loudly speculates on whether the very powerful Wanda Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, might return.
The account, Sysunn, on X, referenced a comic strip and noted that a variant found at the TVA will share similarities with Scarlet Witch from Earth-616.
The post also mentioned two odd events that separate her from 616 Wanda: “Her brother was killed by a protestor and not Ultron. At the end of MoM in her universe, the TVA captured her instead of her disappearing.”
Further, the account added that Wanda at TVA saw the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home while she was “in unconscious stasis at the TVA.”

The theory seems to be almost happening in the future Marvel movies, especially in Avengers: Doomsday, or further in Secret Wars. It should be noted that Wanda is the daughter of a powerful mutant who is finally stepping into the MCU, making her return even more anticipated.
We Have Already Met Wanda Maximoff’s Variants
In the 2022 film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we met several variants of the sorcerer, as well as many others. While we all enjoyed the presence of the Illuminati, consisting of Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, Black Bolt, and more, some might have forgotten that it was not the Earth-616 Wanda but a variant that hunted the whole Illuminati.
While she can be as fierce as Wanda from Earth-616, it should be noted that the multiverse has endless possibilities to bring even more threatening characters. If not that, we can meet Wanda from the universe of X-Men. The Avengers: Doomsday, X-Men teaser gave us a first look at Magneto. He was seen hurt and helpless.
However, let’s just hope we get to see his daughter coming to rescue him. In case this moment takes place on the big screen, it will be a forever dream coming true for the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
What Does Elizabeth Olsen Feel About Returning as Scarlet Witch?

It was back in 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron, when we first saw Elizabeth Olsen don the look of Wanda Maximoff. And the last time we saw her powers was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, when she was crushed under a rock. However, it is not the way a powerful character is supposed to bid farewell to a long legacy. Speaking about her role in the MCU, Olsen told The Playlist that she was “proud” to portray such an important character.
Further detailing her return, Olsen added,
I don’t have an answer for that.
When asked if fans will see her in Avengers: Doomsday, the actress from Eternity reiterated, “Well, I can’t.”
