Spider-Man 4 star Zendaya has a lot of fondness for an iconic celebrity who is not Tom Holland. Although the interview was taken in 2019, before Tom Holland and Zendaya got so far in their love life, the actress considered actress Hunter Schafer to be “a truly perfect person”.
Speaking to Collider following the release of Euphoria back in 2019, Zendaya revealed that she loved working with Hunter Schafer on the HBO show.
She [Hunter Schafer] is an angel. She’s a truly perfect person, through and through. When she comes into a room, she’s like this ray of sunshine that reflects off of everyone. I can’t even think of more positive things to say about her, as a human. She’s just amazing.
Considering the fact that both her and Hunter Schafer’s characters got so close in Euphoria, it makes sense that their friendship extended beyond the sets of the HBO show.

Being a dark teenage drama filled with drugs, the euphoria of high school, and society, Euphoria is an iconic show that became a breakthrough for Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and more.
In the show, Hunter Schafer portrayed the role of Jules Vaughn, who becomes friends with Rue Bennet (Zendaya) following her return from rehab. Their friendship, which evolved into something romantic, forms a part of the central plot of the HBO show.
Cheating on Rue, Jules learns that Rue has relapsed and informs her parents, which leads to their breakup. At the end of Season 2, Rue decides to let go of Jules while focusing on herself and trying to get better. However, the story of Rue and Jules does not end there.
Rue and Jules Are Returning in Euphoria Season 3

With the news that Euphoria is going ahead with a third season, both Zendaya and Hunter Schafer have been confirmed to reprise their roles as Rue and Jules in the upcoming season.
Although the series takes a time jump of 5 years, Hunter Schafer noted in a 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter that her character is looking for closeness.
She’s looking for closeness with other people and [to feel] affirmed in that closeness. She knows it’s there with Rue.
Naturally, the story of Jules and Rue seemed to be far from over, and with Euphoria Season 3 on the way, it will likely end in heartbreak or one of the greatest redemption arcs of all time.
