Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5 coming in spring this year
Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 5 will be coming in April 2026, as revealed by Kanokari Anime on X (formerly Twitter).

As translated into English, the fifth season of the show will broadcast in the usual “Animeism” slot, a late-night programming block that airs on Friday nights and Saturday mornings through the MBS network in Japan.
Season 5 will cover the second cour of the Hawaii arc from the Rent-A-Girlfriend manga as a direct follow-up to the first cour that was the source material for the fourth season.
The key visual in the announcement sees Chizuru and Asami in swimsuits staring very closely at each other at the pool. The official site describes the poster: “Their contrasting expressions give the key visual a sense of the drama between the two characters that will unfold in the fifth season.”
Crunchyroll has not yet revealed the precise release date and time for the anime’s fifth season or what the schedule will be for the simulcast and on-demand videos. But if last season is anything to go by, one possible scenario will be that Season 5 will air in Japan first before it is made available on Crunchyroll several days later. The English dub for the fourth season released on July 22, several weeks after the Japanese dub aired on July 1 and was made available on Crunchyroll on July 4.
