Nigerian duo of Kanyinsola Ajayi and Olayinka Olajide have qualified for the men’s and women’s 100 metres final of the 2024 African Athletics Championship in Douala, Cameroon on Saturday. Competing in the men’s semi-finals, Ajayi finished second with a time of 10.03 seconds behind Côte d’Ivoire’s Ismael Kone. Olajide also finished second in the women’s 100m semis to qualify for the final.
