In Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will reportedly find himself on the run with Sadie Sink‘s Jean Grey, who is being pursued by Tramell Tillman‘s Damage Control character.
Tramell Tillman is after Sadie Sink in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Sadie’s character, who is all but confirmed by Marvel/Sony to be X-Men’s Jean Grey, will be “kidnapped by Damage Control and they torture her and Spider-Man saves her.” The pair will then be chased by Tramell Tillman’s mystery character, whom the scooper refers to as “the guy from Severance with the moustache” for some reason.

Like Sink, Tillman is believed to be playing a character from the X-Men universe. Multiple scoopers and leakers have reported that he has been cast as X-Men villain William Metzger in Brand New Day, who will be reimagined in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the leader of Damage Control, as well as an anti-mutant character.
Tillman has reportedly signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel Studios, which includes a possible role in the upcoming X-Men reboot. Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts*) is attached to direct the X-Men reboot, which will be released after the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga in 2027.
It remains to be seen how big a role Tillman will have in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. William Metzger is not expected to be the main antagonist of the MCU sequel, with that honor falling to Marvin Jones III’s Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone and Michael Mando’s Mac Gargan/Scorpion.
Whatever size Tillman has in the movie, he is excited to finally be part of a comic book movie. Back in December, the actor shared that he “always wanted to be in that world. I used to watch DC Comics and Marvel all the time. To be a part of it is such a gift.”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will pick up some time after the events of 2021’s No Way Home, which ended with the universe forgetting who Peter Parker was. Destin Daniel Cretton directed Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
