Amid Season 2’s release, actor Aryan Simhadri has shared an idea for Season 5 of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. The Percy Jackson series is an adaptation of the books by the author Rick Riordan and debuted on the streaming platform Disney+ in 2023. The first episodes of Season 2 of the hit series dropped on December 10, 2025.

Aryan Simhadri says he wants Percy Jackson creators to ‘split Season 5 into two parts’

Percy Jackson star Aryan Simhadri recently sat down for an interview with Screen Rant in which he shared his thoughts on what he wants Season 5 to be like.

Simhadri plays the role of Grover Underwood in the fantasy series. The Percy Jackson series is set to adapt the last novel of the book series, The Last Olympian, in the final season, according to multiple reports.

During the chat, Simhadri was asked if he would be interested in directing a future episode of the series. He said, “That would be such a nightmare (laughs). I think it’d be awesome, though. Walker (Scobell) and I, we always ask. Every season. They’re like, ‘Oh, maybe next season.’ But I think it’s a realistic thing by Season 4 or maybe Season 5, especially.”

Moreover, the actor continued that he wants Season 5 to be “split into two parts” and added, “I think by Season 4 or 5, if we could be in the writers’ room or be producers, I think that would be awesome. We just have so many ideas that we want to pitch. Sometimes we want to see the story go in a certain direction, or see certain additions, or see stuff. We have so many ideas, and the writers’ team is always listening to us, but I feel like we’d love to be a part of that process. That’d be rad.”
