That’s right, Modern Warfare 3’s reception hasn’t been the best, and players have felt aggravated and unfulfilled thanks to the lackluster single-player campaign and weak multiplayer experience.

The broken matchmaking system and Modern Warfare 3’s half-baked gameplay aren’t helping the franchise truly grow. However, ongoing experiences like multiplayer and Warzone are perhaps the last chance for Activision Blizzard to truly showcase how exciting and fulfilling the game’s future can be.

With collaborations like The Walking Dead, not only does the game bring in new content that keeps players excited, but it also welcomes new players who would otherwise only invest their time in the show or movie and not the game.

This, combined with the leaks suggesting that The Boys will also arrive in the game, indicates a fresh take on the online features the game has to offer.
