Comoros has leapfrogged Ghana to take the top spot in Group I of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This follows Comoros’ 2-0 victory over Chad on Tuesday evening Comoros faced bottom side Chad at the Municipal Stadium of Oujda in a Round 4 fixture of Group I. Although no goal was scored in the first half, the visiting side managed to score two goals in the second half.
