There are two humane reasons I’m not likely to start my own Nigerian church in this lifetime. First, if I go into public ministry now, people will indirectly force me to commercialize it, and I’ll become too rich, which is ‘somehow’.
Nigerian people will bring their money to me and urge me to take it. They will say, ‘Man of God, take this money, take all our money, you deserve it. The kind of grace you carry ehn …’ That’s how I’ll buy my first private jet without producing anything in the economy.
Second: young Nigerian women will come to me and say, ‘Pastor, we have 12 dimons and it is stopping husband and business. Please, sah, deliver us.’ I’ll award them prayers and charge them money.
They will say, ‘Pastor, this matter is not praying and fasting matter. I know myself and I know what I am passing through. Can we find a comfortable, cool and private place so that you can lay hand … and do me delivery. Sah, I’m sure it will work’.
I will suggest that we go to a cold room where the temperature is really cold but she will say no. ‘Pastor, I want hotel. I have book the hotel; we need to be able to pray well-well’.
And then I’ll go and start the deliverance. Each day I lay my hand on her head will add more dimons until I can no longer fight … I’m gone!
