Microsoft surprises all fans with an amazing summer showcase that blows people’s minds. Microsoft made stunning announcements such as a new Gears of War, Doom: The Dark Ages, and numerous other astounding titles.

However, some fans had high expectations for Elder Scrolls 6, only to receive a new update for Elder Scrolls Online instead. Several users on X were not happy at all with this new content for this game because no one knows who is playing it. The users had at least anticipated a new update on the state of this title.

Elder Scrolls Online Keeps Getting New Updates, and Fans Are Not Happy With That

With an overwhelming positive reaction from the fans, the Xbox Summer Showcase was a total success for Microsoft. The community was thrilled to see all the stunning announcements that exceeded any kind of expectation that they had for this major event. With names like Fable, Gears of War, Avowed, Stalker 2, and more, the Microsoft presentation brought an astonishing amount of trailers and gameplay for the most anticipated titles.

However, not all of the community was completely happy about the presentation, especially with one particular IP that didn’t reveal anything new.

This franchise only showed a new update for Elder Scrolls Online, but there was no other trailer or detail about the long-awaited Elder Scrolls 6. Fans are furious about the company’s handling of this specific title, which was first revealed over seven years ago.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Didn’t Show

Fans wanted to see something about Elder Scrolls 6.

Microsoft and Bethesda revealed a new trailer for Elder Scrolls Online, commemorating 10 years of the game and announcing a new expansion called Gold Road that will be available on June 18th.

This trailer has infuriated fans of X with the company, raising concerns about the game’s continuous updates and the lack of player engagement. The community is asking for a new trailer for the sixth entry in the franchise.

The studio that owns games such as Fallout and Starfield showcases a multitude of new and upcoming titles that players are eager to play. Games like Fable, Doom: The Dark Ages, and others will be available at some point in 2025, making the following year a very solid gaming year. Tomorrow will be the time for Ubisoft Forward to introduce new trailers and updates. The Xbox event was the most anticipated.
