Like every other online game, Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 is also filled with toxic players, however, the welcoming and positive attitude of the rest of the community has managed to keep the game’s reputation intact. Once again, the kind gesture of some players has been acknowledged by the entire community on social media.

Collecting samples in Helldivers 2 is necessary if players wish to unlock more ship upgrades. Some players, particularly those who are new to the game, often struggle to extract all the samples, but some high-level/experienced players have been helping them out despite unlocking all the ship upgrades. These players want the community to grow and to enjoy the game, a rare sight indeed.
These Helldivers 2 players are working overtime to make sure the community grows
Helldivers 2 is all about teamwork but some players fail to understand this concept. The toxicity is slowly growing but it will never manage to ruin the positive attitude of many Helldivers.

The Helldivers 2 community on the r/helldivers2 subreddit recently applauded all those players who spend more time extracting samples for their teammates. Since the ship upgrades are limited, many high-level players have unlocked them all but now, they are determined to help out newcomers. Keep in mind that these players don’t need these samples and yet, they work hard to extract samples for their team.

It’s safe to say that these players are loved by the entire community, after all, they deserve respect for keeping true democracy alive. Toxic players certainly ruin the game by team-killing or sabotaging the mission, however, the Helldivers 2 community is fighting hard to take down such players.

When Helldivers 2 was first released in February 2024, it quickly became one of the most popular games in the world, however, things quickly turned around. Many complained that Arrowhead was rolling out unnecessary nerfs but it still didn’t damage the game’s reputation as much as the PSN account linking policy did. The community blaming Arrowhead for the game’s downfall was valid, but the studio shouldn’t be entirely blamed. Many new gamers were eager to try out the game, however, the toxicity within the Helldivers 2 community steers them away.
