The first post-credit scene centers on Glen Powell’s character, Fox McCloud, one of the original characters from Super Smash Bros. McCloud’s appearance was announced a few days before the movie’s release, with Glen Powell voicing the character. In the post-credit scene, fans see McCloud leave the prison where Bowser (Jack Black) and Bowser Jr (Benny Safdie) are held. He meets up with Toad, who inquires about what he will do next. McCloud replies that he will head for his “home.” Therefore, setting up a potential sequel or spin-off focusing on McCloud’s character.
The second post-credit scene gives fans a glimpse of Princess Daisy, who makes a cameo in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Daisy appears after the monkey, Ukiki, tries to steal her purse. But he gets knocked out by her. This teases that the character will play a part in the potential sequel. However, the actor who will voice Princess Daisy has not yet been confirmed, as fans didn’t get to hear her voice in the scene.
A sequel to The Super Mario Galaxy Move has not yet been confirmed. Recently, actor Charlie Day, who portrays Luigi in the movie, discussed a possible Luigi’s Mansion spin-off. He told ScreenRant, “First time hearing. I would be thrilled to do Luigi’s Mansion, just because it’s such a fun game. And not that you would make it like a horror movie for kids, but it could have some more sort of jump scares in it, which would be fun.”
