The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Episode 9 will premiere on September 3, 2025, on Prime Video. We’re definitely hyped up for this one, especially after what unfolded in Episode 8. Conrad admits that he would “never not love” Belly. Jeremiah confessed he had known about the Christmas secret all along. Additionally, Susannah’s letters revealed that she always wanted Belly to end up with Conrad.
In the end, everyone laid their hearts out, and the wedding was ultimately called off. Belly then packed her bags, Jeremiah was drowning himself in beer alongside Steven, and Conrad was nowhere to be found. Belly goes to the airport to catch her flight to Paris, finally stepping toward her dream.
As she’s in the boarding line, she sees Conrad sitting nearby, and just when she steps out toward him, the episode ends. Episode 9 will pick up from here and will be the chapter that decides where Belly goes next, and what becomes of the Fisher brothers.
Will Conrad and Belly Get Back Together in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 9
Conrad’s confession in the kitchen, along with reminding Belly about Christmas, the bathtub scene, and their shared past, forced her to admit she could never erase him from her heart. That honesty ended the wedding even before it began.
Throughout the third season, we have seen that Belly has been constantly pulled between stability with Jeremiah and her history with Conrad. Susannah’s letter only confirmed what we have seen from Season 1: Conrad has only ever loved Belly.
With this, Episode 9 now sits at a crossroads. Jenny Han’s third book, titled We’ll Always Have Summer, concluded with Conrad and Belly marrying years later after time apart. The show, however, can take a different route.
Maybe it could mirror that sense of patience by sending Belly to Paris first, leaving Conrad waiting as he promised. Then, as usual, they might be able to find their way back together. While all of these are predictions at the moment, September 3 will answer all these questions.
Jeremiah’s Emotional Healing After The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 8 Fall Out

Jeremiah’s arc in Episode 8 of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 was all over the place. When Belly admitted that she still loved Conrad “a little,” it crushed him. Even his “You’re dead to me” outburst at Conrad was not just about rivalry. It was more about the pain of knowing that Belly still carried Conrad in her heart.
The bombshell reveal that he already knew about the Christmas secret only deepened the sense of betrayal. In Episode 9, we would probably see him shift away from the chaos of the triangle. At his wedding rehearsal dinner, he revealed to Belly that he plans to take a full-time job at his dad’s firm, so he might move forward.
This also aligns with Han’s books, as well, where he steps out of the center once the engagement ends. We might see him grieving but not chasing. His ending may not be about love at all, but about starting over.
