Welcome to Baki, where bodybuilders have muscles, and “normal training” means shadowboxing prehistoric beasts. The Baki series, created by Keisuke Itagaki, is more than just a martial arts story.
It is about testing the limits of the human body until logic packs its bags and leaves. From underground fighting rings, cloned samurai, and cavemen who fought dinosaurs with their bare hands, this series constantly asks one question – who is actually the strongest? Let us explore in detail.
10. Kaiou Kaku – Technique Sharpened by Time
Kaiou Kaku proves that one does not need massive biceps to intimidate others. This elderly Chinese Kenpo grandmaster appears as if the slightest gust of wind would knock him down, but as soon as he begins to move, even the monsters have to sit and take notice.

In the Raitai Tournament, he managed to redirect blows from Yujiro using pure technique and his expertise in Xiaoli. Yujiro ultimately defeated him decisively. Ultimately, he may not be as physically intimidating as the rest of the people here, but when it comes to martial arts, he is in a league of his own.
9. Doppo Orochi – The God of War Unbound
Doppo is not flashy – he is just different. As the leader of Shinshinkai Karate, he is the product of years of tough training and actual fighting.

He once pushed Yujiro so hard he had to use Demon Back, which basically Baki‘s way of saying, “okay, I am serious now.” Doppo may not be able to muscle out the best of the best, but you cannot underestimate him.
8. Kaoru Hanayama – Grip Strength From Hell
Hanayama does not believe in strategy – he just keeps pressing forward, takes your best blow, and then breaks you like a soda can. He has immense pain tolerance and durability.

His grip strength is just plain terror-inducing. He can break bones with raw pressure, and even when he is up against something as crazy as Musashi, he refuses to bend. He is not about skill – he is an unstoppable force in a human body.
7. Nomi no Sukune – Ancient Sumo, Modern Destruction
Sukune enters and basically says, “Modern sumo wrestling is soft. Watch this.” And then he proceeds to knock around top-class wrestlers with ease.

His grip is as strong as Hanayama’s, and his throws are bone-shattering and world-class. He is rough, powerful, and incredibly strong – but when the real beasts start to arrive, he reaches his limit.
6. Biscuit Oliva – Built Like a Fortress
Oliva’s essentially a guy who decided to turn his entire body into armor. A punch towards him is like striking a concrete wall.

He has ridiculously dense muscle mass and relies more on brute durability than tactics. Baki defeated him, yeah, but let us not forget that Oliva was already making everyone else look like amateurs before that.
5. Jack Hanma – Strength Without Limits
Jack does not believe in limitations. He is all about surgeries, steroids, bone lengthening procedures, and hard training until his body starts screaming in pain.

His fight with Pickle was just plain savage. Even in losing, Jack showed that he has got what it takes to be at the top. He may not be the strongest guy out there, but when it comes to his determination to push himself past his limits for strength, no one can beat him.
4. Pickle – The Caveman Who Fought Dinosaurs
Pickle is not only powerful – he is prehistoric powerful. The guy basically hunted and killed dinosaurs with his bare hands.

So, when he enters the modern era, everyone panics. His brute strength is simply unmeasurable, and he forces fighters like Baki and Jack to upgrade in the middle of a fight.
3. Miyamoto Musashi – The Invincible Samurai
Musashi’s return in Baki-Dou is like history itself entering the ring. He is a cloned copy of Japan’s greatest swordsman, and what he possesses is something that most modern fighters lack – killing intent.

He tears down top-level fighters as if they were paper and even takes on Yujiro without thinking. Musashi is not just powerful – he is deadly, and this changes the entire atmosphere of every match he enters.
2. Baki Hanma – The Evolved Prodigy
Baki started out as a kid trying to beat his father. Now, he is a full-fledged monster in his own right. He has defeated Oliva, survived Pickle, and even managed to involve Yujiro in the most epic father-son fight in anime history.
Moreover, he combines speed, creativity-based training, insane adaptability, and Hanma DNA in a way that is just brutally effective. If anyone is going to overthrow Yujiro someday, it is going to be him.
1. Yujiro Hanma – The Strongest Creature on Earth
Finally, there is Yujiro – armies are afraid of him, governments give him respect and martial arts masters all fall apart in his presence. He is nearly an expert in all styles of fighting and has the power to match that of a legend.

Nobody has ever managed to show that they are better than him. Not Musashi, not Pickle, not even Baki. So, until someone does, Yujiro remains the strongest fighter, and the benchmark of all strength.

Ultimately, the beauty of Baki is that strength keeps evolving – every arc introduces someone who makes us question the ranking. Meanwhile, this list may spark some debate (as it always does), but one thing is certain – in the world of Baki, just being strong is not enough. You have to be monstrous.
So, who do you think truly deserves the title of strongest in Baki – is Yujiro still untouchable, or is Baki finally ready to surpass him? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
