The latest MCU rumor comes from Majestic_ucm on X, who claimed that Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s post-credit scene will reportedly be “very much tied” to Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. It is expected to be set before the events of Avengers: Doomsday. This comes ahead of the Disney+ premiere of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 on March 24, 2026.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The movie will also feature the return of Emmy winner Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. Joining them are Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), Jon Bernthal (Daredevil: Born Again) as Frank Castle/Punisher, Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) as Cathy, Michael Mando (Better Call Saul) as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, Marvin Jones III (Black Lightning) as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, and Tramell Tillman (Severance), with Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
The speculation about Sink’s mysterious character continues to circulate online, with some fans convinced that she may have been cast as the MCU’s Jean Grey, following the recent revelation that she’ll also appear in Avengers: Secret Wars. The upcoming movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Louis D’Esposito.
