Production on Spider-Man 4 is currently underway.

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in his fourth solo movie, which is officially titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day. With the MCU movie set to bow in the summer of 2026, filming is almost complete.

When does Spider-Man 4 wrap production?

A Deadline report stated that Sadie Sink, one of the new cast members, will be shooting Spider-Man: Brand New Day until the “middle of December.” Principal photography began in August, so a December wrap date makes sense.

Besides Holland, Spider-Man actors Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are returning for Brand New Day as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds, respectively. MJ and Ned were two vital characters in the previous three Spider-Man movies. The extent of their roles in the upcoming film is yet to be seen.

Other notable MCU actors in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast are Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk. Michael Mando will return as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, who was teased in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Additionally, Marvin Jones has been cast as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone.

Sink is one of several actors who have been cast in undisclosed roles. The others include Emmy winners Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman.

Like most Marvel projects, the plot details for Brand New Day remain under wraps. Marvel’s Kevin Feige described the fourth Spider-Man movie as a “street-level story” and one that’s not focused on “world-ending events.”

Destin Daniel Cretton, who helmed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, directs Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Cretton takes over for Jon Watts, who departed the franchise after Spider-Man: No Way Home. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers penned the screenplay. Feige and Amy Pascal are producers.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be part of Phase Six in the MCU. It swings into theaters on July 31, 2026.
