Ryan Reynolds has a wild idea for Deadpool’s next costume. The actor wants to see the Marvel antihero in a full denim suit with bright white shoes and socks. His comments arrive as fans continue to question whether Deadpool will appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
Reynolds recently looked back at his denim-heavy appearance during a conversation with Complex’s Joe La Puma. The actor previously wore the outfit at Comic-Con and jokingly dubbed the look “Jeanpool.” La Puma showed him sneakers that matched the ensemble, but he had another idea for Deadpool’s wardrobe.
“I would even go with the full Jerry Seinfeld look,” Reynolds said. The actor suggested making the entire Deadpool suit from denim and completing it with the “brightest white shoes” and white socks.
Reynolds also joked about putting Deadpool in black-and-red Jordans. “Why not?” the actor replied. He pointed out that Deadpool is a character who can get away with unusual fashion choices. “Anything’s possible,” the 49-year-old added.
The conversation also covered the footwear created for Deadpool & Wolverine. Reynolds said Adidas developed shoes for the film’s many Deadpool variants. The actor estimated that there were “50, 60, 70” different Deadpools in the film, with different designs and backstories. He also recalled giving Channing Tatum a pair of Gambit-inspired shoes.

Avengers: Doomsday has a huge ensemble cast led by Robert Downey Jr. as Dr. Doom. Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, and Florence Pugh are among the returning MCU stars.
The film will also bring back several original X-Men actors, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn. Channing Tatum is also returning as Gambit after his appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine. The film is set to bring together several MCU characters as they face Doom.
Ryan Reynolds’ involvement remains unclear. He surprised fans at San Diego Comic-Con by appearing as Deadpool, adding to speculation about his role in Avengers: Doomsday. However, he is not officially confirmed in the announced cast. Reports have also conflicted over whether Deadpool will appear in the film.
