Marketing is in full swing for the next Batman animated series, with Prime Video having just released the official title sequence for Bat-Fam.
The opening title sequence features music by Patrick Stump, the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Fall Out Boy. Stump previously composed the score for the 2023 DC animated movie Merry Little Batman, which serves as a prequel to Bat-Fam. The Bat-Fam title sequence is framed as taking place inside a comic book, with panels used to introduce the show’s key characters and tease the action-packed adventures that Bruce Wayne/Batman and his son, Damian Wayne/Little Batman, will be going on in the series.

Bat-Fam pays homage to Adam West’s Batman in opening title sequence
The title sequence ends by revealing that everything that was just shown to the audience took place within a DC comic book titled Bat-Fam. As the comic book closes shut, the logo for the series appears on screen, which pays a strong resemblance to the one used on the Adam West Batman series from the 1960s. Both use a similar font style while placing their title inside a bat symbol. With the ’60s Batman known for showing a far less serious side of Batman, this homage seems fitting, given that Bat-Fam looks set to present Bruce Wayne and his rogues gallery with a far more light-hearted tone and cartoony style.
“Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne — now having taken on the mantle of Little Batman — as they welcome a few new residents to Wayne Manor. Joining the family dinner table is Alicia Pennyworth, Alfred’s free-spirited grandniece; Claire, a recently reformed Super-Villain; Ra’s al Ghul, Damian’s adoring ‘Pap Pap’ who also happens to be Batman’s longtime nemesis; and Man-Bat, who takes up residence in the Wayne Manor belfry. Oh! And let’s not forget Selina, the beloved family cat. This close-knit family of misfits navigate the fun and frustrations of ordinary life while protecting the streets of Gotham City. Prepare for nonstop action, big heart, and hilarious chaos,” reads the synopsis for Bat-Fam.
Luke Wilson, Yonas Kibreab, and James Cromwell reprise their voice roles from Merry Little Batman as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Damian Wayne/Little Batman, and Alfred Pennyworth, respectively. They will be joined by newcomers Haley Tju as Claire, London Hughes as Alicia, Michael Benyaer as Ra’s Al Ghul, and Bobby Moynihan as Man-Bat.
Bat-Fam will premiere on Prime Video on November 10, 2025.
