Call of Duty is a first-person shooter that has a vast number of games in its series. Developed by Infinity Ward, the first Call of Duty was released on October 29, 2003. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was released late last year on November 10, 2023, with a further 18 games released between these two, and as of April 2021, the franchise has sold over 400 million units.
Call of Duty was originally based on World War II. As the years have progressed, many fans of the Call of Duty franchise have encouraged the game to move with the times, to make the game with more up-to-date elements of the world of war, for example, guns, technology, even enemies, and for the most part, the developers have not failed to deliver.
Leaked video of futuristic Call of Duty
Your Favourite characters from the Call of Duty franchise could have been in spacesuits.
A source on the social platform X has brought to light a video of what could have been a futuristic version of Call of Duty called Future Warfare. The video starts with a selection screen, and as you go through it, the player selects a mission titled Moon Base Assault. As this mission starts, your character is lying on the ground on the moon, with heavy gunfire coming toward you and your allies, An ally drags you to your feet, only to be shot by an enemy You stumble and dodge bullets to the blast door of this moon substation.
As you get to the substation, enemies blow a blast door adjacent to your position, where allies who have no space gear on fly out of the unpressurized space. As you travel further through the level, avoiding near death through shattering glass exposes you to the elements and what appear to be electrical malfunctions and explosions, while what appears to be a commander is telling you to get to the armory.

What could of been with Future Warfare
Riley, the German Shepard, is the first non-human playable character in Call of Duty franchise.
There are also suggestions that, in Future Warfare, there would have been multiplayer game modes such as Escort Mode. It is believed that Escort mode was later introduced to Call of Duty: Ghosts, and it was renamed Safeguard. In the game mode safeguard, you will face varying size and difficulty waves of enemies. Your squad of six players has to defeat these waves of enemies. You have the choice of 20 or 40 waves.

Call of Duty: Ghosts was believed to be released instead of the cancelled Future Warfare. Call of Duty: Ghosts was released in 2013, two years after Future Warfare was cancelled. Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward. Like many of the Call of Duty games, Ghosts has very similar gameplay to its predecessor’s, but with some twists. The Ghosts campaign is told through the eyes of the main playable character, known as Logan. There are a few other playable characters, but this is the first of its kind in the Call of Duty series. You play as German Shepperd, known as Riley, the first non-human playable character in the franchise.
