MCU fans are rigorously debating Sadie Sink’s mystery character following the release of the Spider-Man 4 trailer.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 4, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, will be released in United States theaters this July. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wonder Man’s Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie will once again see Tom Holland reprise his MCU role as Tom Holland/Spider-Man.

What are people saying about Sadie Sink’s Spider-Man 4 character after the new trailer?
Sadie Sink’s face isn’t actually seen in the Brand New Day trailer; however, MCU fans believe she’s still in the trailer. Many seem to believe that a scene with a character who has their back to the camera and another scene where someone is tied to a chair both feature Sink. This has led some to firmly believe that she’s most definitely playing X-Men character Jean Grey, as has been rumored for quite some time.

Others, however, think the opposite and believe the trailer confirms she is not playing Jean Grey.

In the end, we still don’t know for sure who Sink is playing in Spider-Man 4. Fans can find out for sure when the Marvel movie arrives on July 31, 2026.
