Sadie Sink recently stepped out at a major fashion event in New York. The actor attended Calvin Klein’s runway show as Marvel fans await her next Marvel appearance. However, her presence drew attention because of its connection to the studio’s upcoming X-Men film.
Sink attended the Calvin Klein show during New York Fashion Week, where she joined Maya Boyd, who will portray Ororo Munroe / Storm in the new X-Men film. The co-stars were spotted sitting side-by-side front row. Their appearance gave Marvel fans an early look at two members of Marvel’s new mutant lineup.
While Boyd stars as the weather-controlling mutant, Sink will reprise her role as Jean Grey in the upcoming film, after making her MCU debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The New York appearance comes as Marvel prepares to introduce its new X-Men lineup in the MCU. Directed by Thunderbolts* famed director Jake Schreier, the film is scheduled to open in theaters on May 5, 2028.
Confirmed cast for Marvel’s upcoming mutant movie
Sink and Boyd will lead Marvel’s new X-Men movie alongside several other confirmed cast members. Kit Connor will play Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops. Samara Weaving will take on the role of Emma Frost, while Inde Navarrette will play Rogue.
Meanwhile, Christopher Abbott will play Professor X, who has traditionally served as the leader and mentor of the mutant team. Adam Driver will portray Mister Sinister, one of the X-Men’s most notable enemies. Asa Germann has recently joined the cast as Warren Worthington III, better known as Angel. His addition further expands the group of mutants expected to appear in the film.
Still, several roles remain to be cast, and Marvel might announce additional casting details in the upcoming days. Apart from Schreier directing, the film has tapped in Beef creator Lee Sung Jin and The Bear showrunner Joanna Calo as writers.
For now, Marvel has kept much of the movie’s story under wraps.
