A new Masters of the Universe trailer has been released.
Amazon MGM Studios is releasing the new Masters of the Universe movie in United States theaters this summer. Directed by Travis Knight, the movie is based on Mattel’s Masters of the Universe media franchise. It stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, and more.

What do we see in the new Masters of the Universe trailer?
The new Masters of the Universe trailer shows off some new footage of Galitzine’s He-Man, along with some of the epic sci-fi battles that he and his crew fight in. Additionally, it also spotlights Jared Leto’s Skeletor voice.
The synopsis for the movie reads, “After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.”
In addition to the aforementioned cast, Masters of the Universe also stars Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena Glenn, and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto, among others.
The screenplay for the film comes from Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham, based on a story by Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, Alex Litvak, and Michael Finch. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Robbie Brenner, Steve Tisch, and DeVon Franklin serve as producers on the project, while Ynon Kreiz, Bill Bannerman, and David Bloomfield serve as executive producers.
Masters of the Universe arrives on June 5, 2026.
