Emma is an adopted child and doesn’t know her biological parents. She doesn’t want to have children because she fears passing down any unknown hereditary complications.
Emma revealed that she underwent 10 surgeries before age seven due to high-risk birthmarks and had an increased risk of melanoma. She carries the visible scars.
She opened up about her surgeries to Steven on their second date, but he felt she was not emotionally open enough and believed he was sharing more than she was. Their connection ended quickly.
Her strongest bonds were with Mike and Connor. Both handled the child’s conversation thoughtfully and did not pressure her. Emma initially gravitated toward Connor, but he later admitted he also had a strong connection with Bri. Connor finally turns down the one she had been number one for.
With Mike, there’s only one problem. He has been clear that he wants children, though he says he is willing to navigate the uncertainty. At the same time, Kevan was also forming a meaningful relationship with Keya. Kevan clearly revealed to Keya his strong connection to Tyler. Instead of reacting with jealousy, Keya approached the situation calmly. Emma and Mike spent a great time, but Emma is a bit messy, which he can’t handle. However, Emma is ready to work on that. Vic and Christine headed to Malibu instead. Netflix still provided updates on them, and they appear in previews for upcoming episodes.
In Cabo, the couples spend time together, and all of them eventually meet for the first time as engaged pairs. Bri’s attention toward Chris during a group party rattled Connor. Bri shared that she wished she had a chance to get to know Chris more. They eventually talked, rather bantered, which triggered Connor’s insecurities.
In Cabo, Devon and Brittany’s connection didn’t fully translate physically. Brittany, whose love language is physical touch, initiates affection more often than Devon. The tension peaked during a game of Never Have I Ever when she offered to give him a hickey, and he declined. Brittany even talked to other girls about breaking her vow of celibacy before marriage to stay connected.
The most shocking revelation involved Alex and Brittany.
