Should we just get Amapiano remix? questions like this and many more surfaced on social media following the recent video shared by award-winning UK grime rapper J Hus where he shared a freestyle on the viral song by Asake and Olamide titled Amapiano.
Amapiano, which peaked at number one on two of the biggest digital streaming platforms, Apple Music and Spotify, after its release, seems to also have celebrities in a chokehold as well; J Hus’ verse is one many can’t stop talking about as freestyle followed the successful release of his collaboration with Drake titled Who Told You.
Amapiano and other songs off Asake’s second album, Work Of Art, have dominated the chart since its release as the singer had all songs in the Spotify top songs daily chart for Nigeria, peaked at number one on the Apple Music top albums UK chart and also peaked at number three on the Apple Music top albums chart for the US as well.
