Next year, you’ll get a chance to experience the haunted town of Derry once again when Warner Bros. Discovery Home releases It: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season. Arriving on a 4K UHD in a Limited Edition Steelbook, Blu-ray, and DVD, the physical copy of Season 1 will also include bonus content, an exclusive never-before-seen featurette, and behind-the-scenes clips.
When is the It: Welcome to Derry DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K SteelBook release date?
It: Welcome to Derry: The Complete First Season, which contains all eight episodes of the It prequel series, is set to arrive on May 5, 2026. The upcoming release will also include exclusive bonus content, extended behind-the-episode featurettes called Inside Derry, and a bonus featurette called Fear the Other.
Per the product information, Fear the Other will explore “the societal dynamics of 1962 Derry, Jim Crow, the Red Scare, and the government trespassing on indigenous lands that wreak terror in this tiny New England town.” The entire running time is approximately 8 hours and 30 minutes, including the bonus content.
In addition to the IT: Welcome to Derry’s 4K UHD SteelBook, Blu-ray, and DVD release, the first season is also available for digital purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, Fandango at Home, and more.

It: Welcome to Derry debuted to a strong audience and critical reception when it premiered on October 26 on HBO and HBO Max. The supernatural horror series, based on Stephen King’s classic 1986 novel It, serves as a prequel to Andy Muschietti’s It (2017) and It: Chapter Two (2019). Besides returning as the shapeshifting evil named Pennywise, Bill Skarsgård also serves as one of the show’s executive producers.
Set in 1962, the series revolves around the events before Muschietti’s features and before the Losers’ Club first encountered Pennywise, expanding the story beyond what transpired in the movies. It also stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Matilda Lawler, and more.
