Your Friends & Neighbours is returning for its season 2, and the stakes are higher this time. With the old cast returning as well as James Marsden joining as a new member in the saga, the critically-acclaimed series is all set to entertain fans and audiences worldwide once again. Here’s all we know about the cast of season 2, so far (via Deadline).
Returning Cast Members:
1. Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm is coming back to the Apple TV show as Andrew ‘Coop’ Cooper. The central character of the show, Coop finds his midlife crisis getting a hold of him when he becomes enchanted by a new lifestyle.
Hamm has plenty of experience in the entertainment industry, being a Hollywood veteran with numerous films and TV shows to his credit, including The Morning Show, Fargo, Grimsburg and Landman.
2. Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn is also returning to once again reprise her role as Sam, the estranged wife of Paul Levitt and Mel’s friend. In season one, Sam was shown to develop a friends-with-benefits relationship with Coop.
Munn is an actress and television host, and has appeared in numerous projects over the years after famously getting her start on The Daily Show.
3. Amanda Peet

Amanda Peet plays Coop’s ex-wife and therapist, Mel. And she has been pretty vocal about how embodying this respective character has “been a joy” so far, praising writer Jonathan Tropper for his work on the show. She said,
I love Jonathan Tropper’s writing so much, and I feel like we have a similar sense of humor. And then working with Jon Hamm is like bananas, I mean he’s the best, so fun.
Peet is also a veteran in the entertainment industry, having appeared in a multitude of films and TV shows, including Fantasy Life.
4. Hoon Lee

Actor Hoon Lee is all set to return to the screens as Barney, who’s Coop’s friend and accountant in Your Friends & Neighbours. He holds quite a fit resume in the TV industry, having booked roles in shows like Warrior, See, and DMZ over the years.
5. Lena Hall

Coop has a younger sister in this hit Apple TV series as well, and Lena Hall was the one to portray her character. As Allison “Ali” Cooper, she played Coop’s sister, who struggles with a mental illness as he reluctantly looks after her.
Prior to this, Hall also starred in Snowpiercer as Miss Audrey.
6. Aimee Carrero

Nick and Coop share a mutual in this drama, who has been spectacularly embodied by Aimee Carrero: Elena. And the actress is once again returning in the role of Nick’s housekeeper and Coop’s partner-in-crime.
On her part, Carrero has been a part of quite a few TV shows over the years, including Maid, Firebuds, and The Consultant.
7. Isabel Gravitt

Coop shares a teen daughter with his ex-wife, Tori, and the character is returning to the lore to once again be played by Isabel Gravitt, who perfectly stepped into the role in season one.
Gravitt, for one, has been building her portfolio in film and TV, already known for her performance in The Watcher.
8. Donovan Colan

Donovan Colan is also coming back to Your Friends & Neighbors. He will be reprising his role as Hunter Cooper, Coop’s teenage son. The actor is best known for his performance in The Dogs, for which he won an ACTRA Award for Outstanding Performance, and Theater Camp, for which he bagged a Sundance Special Jury Award / Ensemble.
New Cast Members:
1. James Marsden

This time around, joining the Your Friends & Neighbors lore is none other than James Marsden, the renowned Scott Summers portrayer from the original X-Men film series from the 2000s. He will be stepping into the new role of Owen Ashe in this second season of the show.
Marsden is famed for his countless performances over the years, including in The Notebook, 27 Dresses, and Jury Duty, among many others.
Recurring New Cast Members:
1. Arienne Mandi

From the recurring cast, Arienne Mandi is among the newbies set to join the Apple TV series from season 2 on. Her role hasn’t been specified yet, as of this writing. Mandi is best known for playing the lead character Dani Núñez in The L Word: Generation Q, besides minor roles in Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, Agent X, and NCIS: Los Angeles.
2. Erin Robinson

Actress Erin Robinson is another one to join the hit series as a recurring cast member. Her role has not been revealed yet, either. The actress is known for her performances in pieces like Wunderkinder, Override, and Act One.
3. Bre Blair

Bre Blair is also adding to the star-studded cast of Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2. She has been cast in an unknown role, though her character is reportedly set to be a recurring one in this upcoming season of the show. Blair has previously played Stacey in The Baby-Sitters Club and Jessie West in Game of Silence.

What is Your Friends & Neighbours Season 2 About?

Season 1 of Your Friends & Neighbours was about Andrew “Coop” Cooper (played by Jon Hamm), who is a hedge fund manager who gets fired in disgrace. Still grappling with his recent divorce, he resorts to stealing from the homes of his neighbors in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village. However, he soon discovers the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades, which might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.
The second season of this Apple TV series continues the intriguing storyline. Per Apple TV Press, “In season two, Andrew Cooper doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbour threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk.” The series has been created by Jonathan Tropper, who serves as showrunner and executive producer.
