What is the Daredevil Season 2 release date on Disney+?
The official release window for Daredevil Born Again Season 2 is 2026, though it’s estimated that it will come out in Spring 2026.
Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Television and executive producer for the show, stated in a February 2024 interview with The REEL Roundup that shooting for season two was already planned for March and that it will “come out about a year from now.” He expects that there will be “a new Daredevil season annually.”
This suggests that Marvel plans to release new seasons of Daredevil Born Again on a consistent basis, so given that the series premiere episode was on March 4, it wouldn’t be too far off the mark to guess that March 2026 would be a good estimate for the Season 2 release date.
Also, as far as the general production schedule goes, it usually takes about four to six months for a Marvel superhero season to finish shooting and then about another four months of post-production to add in effects, which shouldn’t be too complicated for Daredevil compared to other Marvel shows that use a lot of CGI. This would fall in line with our projected release date of Spring 2026.
It’s interesting to note that The Punisher special starring Frank Castle will air alongside the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. It’s unclear whether this standalone special will release before or in the middle of the second season, but it’s clear that the fates of Daredevil and The Punisher are tied together.
