Airtel and MTN have gradually revolutionized their data plan, and here are the 8 cheapest data bundle plans for all your devices, from Smartphones, tablets, PCs, and any other gadgets that use cellular.

Ntel WAWU Sim

The Ntel WAWU Sim is another cheapest Data bundle plan but sorry, it is only for specific states. With the Ntel WAWU Sim, that requires you to register new sim card and you would be provided with 2 sim cards.

One with 1GB usage only for 48hours and the other, you will receive 10GB valid for 30 days.
MTN Double Data

On MTN, you might have come across the Double Data Offer, which multiplies your data by 100%. For instance, if you subscribe to a 5GB monthly plan, you will receive free 5GB accumulating it to a 10GB monthly plan and it doesn’t zap unusually.

Send PROMO via SMS to 131, A message like this “thank you for your request for device bundle at naira 1/day” it will arrive, don’t worry, Reply with 1 and then choose any MTN data plan below and subscribe.

You can also check out the 3.5GB for N2,000, among many others, I’d figure out that this is the best data bundle plan for all device. This is only for MTN subscribers.

Airtel Double Data

I am still rocking this on my two Airtel Sim including my siblings too but however, it is not eligible on all Airtel Sim cards. Few of my friends aren’t eligible and unlike MTN, there is no tweak to make them eligible.

You can get a new sim card to check it out but hoping on whether it will work is 50/50. The Airtel Double Data bonus gives you back 100% of your subscribe data as bonus e.g subscribe to 5GB on Airtel, you will received extra 5GB making it 10GB of data for a month.

You can get new Airtel sim card to check for yourself. To test if your sim is eligible then you can dial *144#. You will receive a message like;
“Enjoy Airtel 100% double Data
3GB for N1000
10GB for N2500”
But most times, it doesn’t show that, so you might be forced to test it out for yourself by subscribing to a lower data plan to check if the SIM is eligible for the double data.

This is another cheap data bundle plan for Airtel users, where you are allowed to enjoy 3GB monthly plan for just N1000. This plan is simple to activate, if you are interested. Then dial *431#. To check-in for balance, then dial *140#.

You can check other plans on Airtel such as:
N1500 for 6GB – 7 Days – *141*1504#
N1,000 1.5GB – 30 Days – *141*1000#
N1,200 2GB – 30 Days – *141*1200#
N1,500 3GB – 30 Days – *141*1500#

Please note that this plan works virtually on all devices which includes your smartphones. You might want to check the Airtel Youtube Streaming that with N1k, you can get 4.5GB and N4k can get you huge 19GB. You can dial *323# and follow the prompt. Well, the validity date is 30 days, just like the Normal Monthly Plan.
Glo Monthly Plans

You all aware that Glo Nigeria has finally reduced its data but the prices remain normal. Before you can use N500 to get 2GB, 1,000 can get you 3.2GB, 2,000 for 7.5GB but right now, everything has changed.

This is a nice post,actually I have been enjoying some of this data bundle lately switching from sim to sim but I think the NCC should do something about the high cost of data by the network providers,this is unbecoming of them

The NCC are the ones responsible for high cost of data by not allowing the Telecom Operators to compete. This they did by restricting Glo, and hence making them come up with the Oga SIM idea instead.
The NCC are not even in the interest of common Nigerians, all they know is to fine, making the Operators hike their data prices in order to get back their money from the subscribers.

Good morning I was actually you will rate ntel as number one as I have been using it since 2016 I actually started with 10k per month with unlimited data and I mean unlimited data not like the trash Airtel is selling. I use up to 400GB per month since times 150Gb depending on what I stream every month I don’t even use my DStv decoder anymore since 2016 since I can watch virtually all programs online without buffering though the price is not 17.5k for unlimited data now for 30 days it’s the best so far until I see any other network that can beat that, they are the best.

Hi, this MTN awoof (double) data offer, does it have an expiring period, I mean does it have a duration?
For example, with airtel sim, the duration in which one is eligible for double data offer is 3months, when the duration is over you fall back to the normal data plan.
