A new video related to Avengers: Doomsday potentially confirms a big spoiler for the MCU movie.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday has wrapped production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters in 2026. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, then follows in 2027.

What does the Avengers: Doomsday photo potentially spoil?

The Russo Brothers’ production company AGBO recently shared a new TikTok that sees some people lip-syncing while holding Iron Man and Doctor Doom masks. Watch the video here:

At one point in the video, mannequins wearing Franklin Richards and Sue Storm’s MCU costumes can be seen in the background. A Robert Downey Jr. Doctor Doom mannequin appears to be between the two of them, though it’s mostly obfuscated, and the costume can’t be seen very well. Assuming these are the costumes that are being used for Avengers: Doomsday, this would mean that Franklin has significantly aged since we last saw him. In the post-credit scene for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Franklin is four years old. The costume that the mannequin is wearing is clearly for an older child, while the hair on the mannequin is also far more curly than Franklin’s was in The First Steps.

There were some previous reports that Marvel was looking for an actor between 10 and 13 to play Franklin in Avengers: Doomsday. No casting has been officially announced; however, judging by the size of the costume seen in the TikTok video, this would seemingly be accurate, and MCU fans can expect to see an older version of Reed and Sue’s child in Doomsday.

What that means as far as the plot goes is anyone’s guess, at this point. If Franklin and Sue first met Doctor Doom years ago when Doomsday starts, there’s no telling what that relationship may look like now or how familiar the Fantastic Four already is with Victor when the film opens.

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in United States theaters on December 18, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars will then be released on December 17, 2027.
