According to a recent report, an unexpected MCU character will be part of Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is currently in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie will be released in United States theaters later this year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, is scheduled to arrive in 2027.
Who has reportedly joined the cast of Avengers: Doomsday?
According to a recent report from The Beyond Reporter, Katherine Langford has been tapped to play Morgan Stark in Avengers: Doomsday.
Morgan, played by Lexi Rabe in Avengers: Endgame, is the daughter of Tony Stark/Iron Man and Pepper Potts. Langford filmed a scene as an older version of Morgan for Avengers: Endgame, though the moment was ultimately cut out of the film.
Langford’s casting in Avengers: Doomsday is just a rumor at this time, and it should be treated as such. There has been no announcement from Marvel regarding Langford being in Avengers: Doomsday or if Morgan will appear in the movie at all.
Langford is best known for playing Hannah Baker in 13 Reasons Why, while she’s also starring in movies such as 2018’s Love, Simon, 2019’s Knives Out, and 2020’s Spontaneous.
