Jujutsu Kaisen team gives Season 4 update after trailer release
MAPPA celebrated its 15th anniversary recently with its “Lineup Announcement” video. During the presentation, Junya Enoki and Megumi Ogata, the voice actors for Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, spoke about the franchise’s future. Following their message, the following message was shown to viewers: “Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4: Culling Game Part 2 is diligently in production.” It should be noted that no release window was announced for Jujutsu Kaisen season 4.
The trailer showcases sorcerers such as Maki Zenin and Kinji Hakari while teasing new fights in the Culling Game. The upcoming season’s fights include Hakari vs. Kashimo and Yuji vs. Sukuna. The footage also shows fans a glimpse of Choso and Yuki teaming up against Kenjaku. Earlier this year, Yuji’s voice actor, Adam McArthur, teased season 4’s exciting moments. Fans are expecting more information about the fourth season to be unveiled at Anime Expo 2026 in July.
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga was written by Gege Akutami and debuted in its original form in 2018. The series is technically a sequel to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, which was later retitled Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The manga has been adapted to an anime series, multiple video games, stage plays, and more. The franchise will expand further with Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survival, an upcoming video game from developer Poncle. Shota Goshozono directed the third season, with Hiroshi Seko writing the series.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 4, as the name suggests, will continue adapting the Culling Game arc.
