To get started, you’ll first need to gain access to the Auction House in Forza Horizon 6. The easiest way to do this is to head to your garage or house and open the “Buy and Sell” tab, where you will find the Auction House option.
You can also access it through the Horizon Festival Site. Alternatively, open the pause menu, switch to the ‘Cars’ tab, and choose ‘Buy New & Used Cars,’ which will automatically fast-travel you home and let you access the Auction House.
Once you’re inside the Auction House, here’s what you need to do
Select ‘Start Auction’
Pick the car you want to sell
Choose the ‘Auction Car’ option
Set the starting bid, buyout price, and the duration.
Hit ‘Confirm’
Once you’ve confirmed the auction, the car will be sold to the highest bidder, and you’ll be able to earn credits. You can keep track of all your active listings from the ‘My Tabs’ tab. After your car is sold, don’t forget to also claim your credits.
There are also a few restrictions to keep in mind. Certain exclusive reward cars in Forza Horizon 6 can’t be sold through the Auction House. On top of that, the maximum buyout value for any car is limited by its in-game market value.

The biggest advantage of selling cars is, of course, earning extra credits. The more credits you have, the easier it becomes to buy some of the best drift, off-road, and road racing cars in Forza Horizon 6, which gives you a much better shot of dominating events and online racing.
However, you shouldn’t rush to sell every unused vehicle in your garage. A smarter strategy is to keep at least one of every car type you collect, since you never know when a specific vehicle might come in handy for a special event in the game. Doing this can save you a lot of time and effort later, instead of having to hunt down the same cars again.
If you’ve already reached the endgame and credits are no longer a concern, another great option is to gift the unwanted cars through the main menu. This can allow your friends to make good use of the vehicle while you can clear up your collection for something new.
