Far Far West can be really brutal on beginners, while good weapons help you, it’s not a replacement for higher levels. In this guide, you will learn the absolute fastest way to level up your hero character.

This loop can be used numerous times and fetches 900XP in 3 minutes. Follow the steps below to bypass the normal grind and unlock your Joker and upgrade slots fast!

Part 1: Setting Up Your Build

1. Access your character build

Navigate to the main title screen to access your character build options before starting.

2. Max out your Speed and Jump Height

Allocate all your available Hero Points entirely into Speed and Jump Height.

3. Equip the perks Moon Gravity, Speedy Gonzales, and Disgrace

Equip the Moon Gravity perk twice to lower your gravity, the Speedy Gonzales perk for extra movement speed, and the Disgrace perk for an additional movement boost.

4. Equip the Shotgun

Equip the Shotgun as your primary weapon and purchase full damage upgrades for it to ensure you can kill the boss quickly.

5. Keep Boing and Portal as active spells

These spells will help you to maximize your mobility during the run.

Part 2: Executing the Tutorial Speedrun in Far Far West

1. Launch the tutorial mission

The tutorial mission has to be launched directly from the main title screen.

2. Move as fast as possible

Spam your dash and jump inputs to move forward as quickly as possible, using your low-gravity and speed perks.

3. Ignore the tutorial prompts

Ignore the on-screen tutorial prompts that ask you to shoot standard enemies. Just keep running, dashing, and jumping past them.

4. Use the Boing spell as soon as you can

Once spells are unlocked during the sequence, use the Boing spell to bound forward even more quickly.

5. Place a portal at the extraction point

Upon reaching the boss chamber, place a Portal right at the extraction point before summoning the Lich boss.

6. Kill the Lich

Kill the Lich quickly using your fully upgraded shotgun. Keep in mind, while you can use Corrupt on Lich, it does not count as a kill!

7. Jump to the extraction zone

Jump through your portal back to the extraction zone to finish the run and earn your 900 Hero XP.
