Rahul Kohli takes the centre stage as Arjun Devraj in Saros, and you might know him as Sheriff Hassan from Mike Flanagan’s critically acclaimed horror series on Netflix, Midnight Mass. Joining him are heavy hitters like Jane Perry, who voiced Selene Vassos in Housemarque’s previous roguelike entry, Returnal, and also starred in this year’s Resident Evil Requiem as Alyssa Ashcroft.
With that said, here’s the list of voice actors in Housemarque’s upcoming title:

What to Expect From Saros
Come back stronger every time you die! | Credits: Housemarque
Saros follows Soltari Enforcer Arjun Devraj, exploring a lost off-world colony on the planet Carcosa, where a perpetual solar eclipse continuously changes the environment. If you’ve played Returnal, then you know what to expect from this game: Housemarque’s signature fast-paced action-focused gameplay and bullet hell combat infused with roguelite elements.
Despite being mechanically similar, Saros is far more forgiving than 2021’s Returnal, so it’s much more accessible for players thanks to a permanent progression and upgrade system. If you die on Carcosa, you’ll still retain resources to upgrade Arjun’s suit, stats, and attributes at the main hub.
It’s not a sequel to Returnal, so if you’re worried about a ridiculously great difficulty curve, you’ll be pleased to know that’s not the case with this title. As we mentioned earlier, permanent progression means everything isn’t reset on death, and you can use Carcosan Modifiers to tailor your gameplay experience according to your preferred level of challenge.
Protection Modifiers will lower the challenge by offering damage boosts and helpful buffs. Trial Modifiers will do the exact opposite, so in Saros, you decide your level of challenge due to the lack of a traditional difficulty system.
It is a much more linear experience than Returnal. However, it features two endings and eight biomes to explore, so you’ll need to spend a considerable amount of time to complete Arjun’s journey on Carcosa. A 100% completion run of the game is also relatively simple, as you don’t need to obtain all randomized collectibles for the Platinum Trophy.
In short, expect Saros to deliver a more streamlined, less punishing roguelite experience while still showcasing and evolving Housemarque’s signature third-person, bullet-hell gunplay. So, are you excited to play Saros? Let us know in the comments section below.
