Neverness to Everness (NTE) is finally out today, and for a gacha game, it has a surprisingly generous gacha system. Not only do we have plenty of pulls and a standard S rank selector, but we also have a guaranteed limited character without a 50/50 mechanic.

Because of this, rerolling isn’t strictly necessary in this game, but it can still give you a strong head start if you want the most meta characters or if you want your favorite characters right away.

Since limited characters like Nanally are guaranteed (thanks Hotta Studio), you could also pull for her if you’d like. But you’ll have many fewer pulls per reroll.

In this guide, we’ll break down the fastest way to reroll in Neverness to Everness and highlight the best characters you should target at launch.

Rerolling in NTE is a relatively straightforward process, though it does require some time investment. Each reroll attempt will take you about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how quickly you move through the tutorial and menus.

Step-by-Step Reroll Process

To start rerolling efficiently, follow these steps:

Create a New Account

Use a fresh email or a “salted” email (e.g., yourname+1@email.com) to quickly generate multiple accounts.

Avoid binding your main account until you decide which reroll to keep.

Complete the Tutorial

Play until you unlock the city and access the gacha system.

Skip cutscenes and optional fights to save time.

Claim All Rewards

Open your mailbox and collect all pre-registration rewards, login bonuses, and redeem codes.

At launch, codes like NTE0429, NTENANALLYGO, and NTENOWTOENJOY provide extra currency.

Use Your Pulls

Spend Fabricated Dice on the Standard Banner.

Use Solid Dice and Annulith on the Limited Banner if you want to try for Nanally early (optional).

Evaluate Your Results

You are guaranteed at least one S-Rank early through beginner systems.

Ideally, you want:

Two S-Rank characters early, or

One top-tier S-Rank + strong synergy option, or

Early Nanally from the limited banner

Repeat if Needed

If your results are weak, log out and create a new account to repeat the process.

At launch, NTE gives a surprisingly high number of pulls:

~40 Standard pulls (thanks to discounted beginner banner)

20–30 Limited pulls depending on rewards and codes

Additional currency from events and progression

This means every reroll attempt gives you a real chance at multiple S-Rank characters, which is why rerolling can be worthwhile despite the game’s generosity.

Should You Reroll in Neverness to Everness?

Here’s the honest answer: you don’t need to reroll to enjoy NTE.

The game gives you:

Free A-Rank characters like Aurelia, Adler, Haniel, and Mint

Free S-Rank units like Zero and Chiz

A guaranteed S-Rank selector at 50 pulls

Enough currency to guarantee Nanally

However, rerolling becomes valuable if you:

Want a strong meta start

Prefer specific characters

Aim to build optimized endgame teams early

If you’re fine with a slower but steady progression, you can skip rerolling entirely.

Best Characters to Reroll For in NTE

At launch, the standard banner includes six main S-Rank characters. Not all of them are equal, especially in early-game value and long-term viability. Let’s take a look at which characters are worth rerolling for at launch.

Tier 0 – Best Possible Start

These are the characters that provide immediate impact and scale well into late-game content.

Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan is one of the strongest burst DPS units available at launch. Her kit revolves around AoE damage and grouping enemies, making her extremely effective in both mobbing and boss fights.

She also has synergy with Nanally, allowing for powerful combo damage through mechanics like Lethal Rose Pact. On top of that, she gains healing capabilities at higher progression, adding survivability to her already strong kit.

If you plan to use Nanally, Jiuyuan becomes an even higher priority. Even without her, Jiuyuan remains valuable thanks to her strong damage output and reaction potential.

Daffodill

Daffodill is arguably the most unique unit at launch because she is the only Chaos character available in version 1.0. This alone gives her massive value, as she unlocks multiple reaction types that are otherwise inaccessible.

She excels as a Break DPS, shredding enemy defenses and enabling massive burst windows for your team. Her damage scales with support skill usage, making her incredibly strong in coordinated teams.

If you don’t pull Daffodill early, you’re effectively locked out of certain reaction-based playstyles—making her one of the best reroll targets.

Tier 1 – Strong and Flexible Picks

These characters are excellent but slightly less impactful than Tier 0 options.

Sakiri

Sakiri is one of the best support characters in the game, offering powerful ATK buffs, crowd control, and strong synergy with multiple team compositions.

Her buffs scale even better with duplicates (Awakenings), making her a strong long-term investment. She also enables key elemental reactions, making her useful in both early and late game.

The only reason she isn’t Tier 0 is that some of her roles can be partially filled by free characters like Adler or Haniel. Still, if paired with a top-tier DPS, she becomes incredibly valuable.

Fadia

Fadia is the best defensive unit at launch and works well in difficult content where survival matters.

She can redirect damage, mitigate incoming hits, and even enable aggressive team compositions by covering the defensive role entirely. This allows you to focus the rest of your team on offense.

Her value increases significantly in endgame content, though she may feel less impactful early when enemies are easier.

Tier 2 – Situational or Lower Priority

These characters are usable but not ideal reroll targets.

Baicang

Baicang is a decent DPS, but he is quickly overshadowed by both free units like Chiz and limited characters like Nanally.

He also relies heavily on Daffodill to reach his full potential, making him a less efficient standalone reroll target.

Hathor

Hathor has solid damage potential, but her performance is inconsistent due to interruptions during key attacks.

Interestingly, her biggest value may come from non-combat benefits, such as unlocking special housing features that generate high-quality gear over time. While useful, this isn’t enough to justify rerolling specifically for her.

What Is the Ideal Reroll Outcome?

If you want a clear stopping point, aim for one of these:

Two S-Rank characters early (best-case scenario)

One Tier 0 character + another strong unit

A Tier 1 duo with good synergy

Early Nanally + a strong Standard S-Rank

Once you reach one of these outcomes, it’s usually better to stop rerolling and start progressing your account.

Once again, we should mention that since limited characters are guaranteed, rerolling in Neverness to Everness is mainly about whether you want to build a strong foundation with standard units.

If you enjoy optimizing your start, rerolling can be a big help. But if you’d rather jump straight into the game, the built-in rewards and free units are more than enough to carry you through the early and mid-game.
