Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake, or should we say Resynced, has been a topic on the internet for a long time. However, while leaks and rumors were treated with a grain of salt, Ubisoft might have confirmed that the talks are likely true after responding to a leak.

Recently, a leaker (@TheRealZephryss) revealed a brand new figurine for Edward Kenway, stating it’s coming out this year. To this, the official Assassin’s Creed social media responded to a classic “here we go again” meme, which is raising a lot of hype.
Earlier leaks suggested that March 2026 would be the time when fans would get to see Black Flag Resynced release. However, considering the current situation at Ubisoft, there might be some internal delays.

To get started with, the leak from TheRealZephryss might be real, because the figurine has the officials from Ubisoft at the bottom. Furthermore, the newly leaked model hasn’t been manufactured before, and we’re way past 2014 to see an official figurine with an updated pose.

What makes the situation even stranger is the official Assassin’s Creed social media account breaking its silence out of nowhere. Responding to the leak with a meme feels unusual, and it could be Ubisoft’s tongue-in-cheek way of acknowledging just how often things leak online without outright confirming anything.
Regardless, the response from the official channel does confirm one thing: Ubisoft is looking into the internet for leaks. So, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake might be a reality, which Ubisoft is trying to hide.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced leaks have been around for a long time, and they have given a good idea. It’s best to take it all with a grain of salt, because nothing is confirmed as of yet.
For starters, the remake is said to feature an RPG take on the fan-favorite and be built on Anvil Engine (same as AC Shadows). The original animation-based combat will also be replaced with newer RPG-like gameplay, while heavily relying on loot.
In terms of upgrades, the remake version will likely remove the loading screen when switching between sailing and land. Overall, the planned upgrade is a reimagination of the original, so it won’t be the same for old fans. The only question is, will the remake see daylight with everything happening at Ubisoft?
