The streaming giant that is known to prioritize quality over quantity continues to expand its offerings for viewers and subscribers. With a varied collection of originals, sequels, and much more, viewers can expect a whole lot of entertainment in June 2025. So, let’s find out what Apple TV+ has in store for June 2025.
Shows to premiere in June 2025 on Apple TV+
Apple TV+ launched in 2019, and in a span of a couple of years, the streaming platform has managed to establish itself as one of the leading streaming services. The streaming platform was the first streaming service to win the Academy Award for Best Picture for CODA, followed by the success of Ted Lasso, which won the Outstanding Comedy Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2021 and 2022.
The streaming platform has been putting out content that picks up unique storylines, and high-quality visuals and focuses on the quality of the project they’d put out. Apple TV+ is also known to launch a new series every month, and we’ll be covering the ones released in June 2025.
1. The Buccaneers
One of the most beloved historical dramas on Apple TV+ is The Buccaneers is set to return for a second season. Based on the unfinished novel by Edith Wharton, the series is set in the 1870s during the Gilded Age and revolves around five wealthy and ambitious American women and their experiences in London high society.

The show deals with the themes of culture clash, friendship, love, and different approaches towards tradition. Season one was highly appreciated and is now set to make a return with the women finally finding their place in England. According to Marie Claire, the women who have grown will now fight to be heard and struggle with emotions like every other woman does.
Actress Christina Hendricks in an interview with EW noted,
We are going to pick up season 2 where we left off. Because that was a big cliffhanger that we left everyone on. Colonel St. George says she’s here, and it stops everything. We’re going to dive right into it, and it won’t take long to start to unravel that story.
She added that drama starts hot and fresh and goes full speed. Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has also joined the cast, and creator Katherine Jakeways shared that they are very excited about her being on board, noting that she is brilliant and well worth watching.
The Buccaneers is set to debut on Apple TV+ on June 18, 2025.
2. Echo Valley
The highly awaited thriller movie Echo Valley stars Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney, Domhnall Gleeson, Fiona Shaw, and more. Directed by Michael Pearce, the story follows a woman who lives on a farm in Pennsylvania and finds out that her daughter has come to her in an alarming state. Fans are thrilled to see Moore and Sweeney’s chemistry and collaboration on-screen.

Julianne Moore shared with Vanity Fair that these movies [about relationships] are her favorite kinds of movies. She explained that in one scene where her character goes to her ex-husband after her farm needs a new roof, she ends up asking for more than the actual cost. About that, Moore added,
That, to me, was kind of a wonderful clue into who this person was and to this person who’s not necessarily going to reveal her needs or desires or motivations to anybody else. There was a sense of secrecy about her, and that was the first time I got kind of hooked on her.
Michael Pearce, however, shared that there is something about complex, familiar relationships that’s fascinating to him.

He added that they all hope that the audience will find Echo Valley a very gripping crime movie. But he added that there is a very rich, complicated relationship to be engaged with.
Echo Valley is set to release on June 13, 2025, on Apple TV+.
3. Smoke
Created by Dennis Lehane, Apple TV+’s upcoming crime drama Smoke is inspired by the podcast Firebug, which was hosted by Kary Antholis. Apple TV+ shared the nine-episode series’ first look last month. It was reported that it’s based on true events and follows a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator as they pursue the trials of two serial arsonists.

Taron Egerton not only stars as the lead of the show but also serves as the executive producer. Jurnee Smollett, Rafe Spall, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, and more join him. Fans are looking forward to watching the dark and gritty crime drama.

Talking about the podcast, which debuted in 2021 and dwelt upon the life of a serial arsonist who had terrorized Southern California for a decade by burning down businesses in broad daylight. The events are scary, but fans are looking forward to the show.
Smoke is set to premiere on 27th June on Apple TV+.
4. Stick
Last but not least, the highly awaited Owen Wilson sports-comedy series Stick is all set to release next month. The makers have assured the audience that it’s going to showcase golf like no one else has, and is probably going to make everyone fall in love with the sport. The story follows a former professional golfer who turns coach for a 17-year-old golf phenom.

Stick is a heartfelt, feel-good sports comedy about a found family and their relationship set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before.
Interestingly, the show created by Jason Keller was inspired by his father’s experience as a pro athlete but decided to focus on golf as a sport. The show is set to feature some of the professionals to give the audience a legitimate feel of a golf game.
Stick will premiere on June 4, 2025. The first three episodes will air simultaneously, followed by one episode every week through July 2025.
