Davido in his latest interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’ has addressed the situation surrounding his relationship with Tiwa Savage for the first time.

Nigerian music superstar Davido has finally addressed the long-standing rumours surrounding his relationship with fellow artist Tiwa Savage. Speaking candidly during an interview, Davido described their past disagreements as minor and likened their bond to that of siblings.

“Me and Tiwa used to stay in the same house. It was like brothers and sisters arguing. It was nothing,” Davido shared, dismissing any notion of serious conflict between the two.

In January 2024, Tiwa Savage wrote a letter to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, revealing that she had received a message from Davido regarding her recent post of her at a party with Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido’s first daughter. Tiwa stated that Davido felt mocked by the post and later issued a warning through mutual connections, advising her to “be careful in Lagos.” This revelation surfaced just days after the two singers unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Davido also revealed that they have not met since the incident but Tiwa Savage did reach out to him and if the link-up happens in future, it happens.
