Helldivers 2 players have, at long last, touched down on Cyberstan to re-educate the Cyborg Legion in the ways of managed democracy. The latest Machinery of Oppression major update introduces Factory Cities overflowing with these mechanically enhanced traitors and their Automaton slaves.

Agitators lead entire bot squads, Radicals roundhouse kick their way through chaos, and Vox Engines flood the airwaves with anti-Super Earth propaganda. If you’re diving into Cyberstan without the right gear, you’re bringing freedom to a fight you won’t win. Below are four loadouts that’ll make sure you do.
1. The All-Rounder “Meta” Loadout
Totally balanced. | Image Credit: Arrowhead Game Studios/FandomWire
We believe the only real meta is using what makes spreading democracy the most fun for you. That said, if it’s a dependable and self-sufficient setup you’re after, this loadout will let you handle just about anything Cyberstan throws your way:
SlotSelectionArmor (Passive)Integrated Explosives/Engineering KitPrimary WeaponLAS-16 TridentSecondary WeaponGP-20 UltimatumThrowableG-123 ThermiteStratagem #1Orbital LaserStratagem #2EAT-411 LevellerStratagem #3GR-8 Recoilless RifleStratagem #4A/MG-43 Machine Gun Sentry
The LAS-16 Trident’s ridiculous DPS and surprising range for a shotgun make it a menace to Agitators, Radicals, and pretty much anything with exposed weakpoints. Vox Engines can, admittedly, tank quite a bit more, but a shot from the Leveller followed by Recoilless Rifle cleanup does the trick.
The Machine Gun Sentry helps hold back aggressive waves when you’re boxed in, while the Ultimatum works as a panic button or medium-range solution when enemies stack up. Running Integrated Explosives nets you two extra Thermites, which is always handy for armored targets and unexpected guests.
2. The “Ghostdiver” (Stealth) Loadout
Sneaky democracy still counts as democracy. | Image Credit: Arrowhead Game Studios
Stealth isn’t easy in Cyberstan’s tight corridors and cluttered streets, but it still works when you know how to play it. If you’re picking your shots and staying mobile, you can dismantle patrols before they know you’re there with this loadout:
SlotSelectionArmor (Passive)Reduced SignaturePrimary WeaponR-72 CensorSecondary WeaponP-4 SenatorThrowableG-89 SmokescreenStratagem #1B/MD C4 PackStratagem #2A/MG-43 Machine Gun SentryStratagem #3Orbital LaserStratagem #4Orbital Smoke Strike
Stealth requires patience, and it goes without saying that this kit isn’t for players who shoot at anything that twitches. The R-72 Censor rewards careful aim and weak point hits, while the Senator handles tougher units like Hulks.
Three C4 charges under a Vox Engine get the job done with style, while Smokescreens and the Orbital Smoke Strike will help you disengage or reposition when the heat’s too much.
3. The “Boom First, Ask Later” Loadout
Overkill? Maybe. Effective? Absolutely. | Image Credit: Arrowhead Game Studios/FandomWire
This build sits at the complete opposite end of the spectrum from our second loadout. If your idea of democracy involves cratering half the map by the end of a mission, you’ll feel right at home here:
SlotSelectionArmor (Passive)Democracy ProtectsPrimary WeaponCB-9 Exploding CrossbowSecondary WeaponGP-20 UltimatumThrowableTED-63 DynamiteStratagem #1TD-220 BastionStratagem #2Orbital 380mm HE BarrageStratagem #3Orbital Napalm BarrageStratagem #4EAT-411 Leveller
This build starts and ends with destruction. The new TD-220 Bastion gives you a mobile stronghold that’s perfect for Cyberstan’s mostly level terrain, while the Exploding Crossbow delivers chaos up close.
Orbital barrages are there to help you clear entire city blocks, the Leveller is your answer to anything left standing, and the Dynamite is your best friend for close-quarter messes. Just remember to leave something behind for your squad?
4. The “Why Move?” Loadout
Efficiency over effort, every time. | Image Credit: Arrowhead Game Studios/FandomWire
Finally, if “clever laziness” is your thing, this setup has your name written all over it. Minimal running, maximum output. Let the hardware do the hard work:
SlotSelectionArmor (Passive)Peak PhysiquePrimary WeaponPLAS-101 PurifierSecondary WeaponGP-20 UltimatumThrowableG-123 ThermiteStratagem #1FX-12 Shield Generator RelayStratagem #2E/AT-12 Anti-Tank EmplacementStratagem #3A/MG-43 Machine Gun SentryStratagem #4Orbital Laser
Everything in this loadout revolves around the Anti-Tank Emplacement from the Urban Legends warbond. It’s already proven itself against Automatons, and on Cyberstan, it cuts through Vox Engines with ease.
As of writing, the Shield Generator Relay is a free stratagem for Cyberstan missions. You could swap it out for another sentry like the A/MLS-4X Rocket Sentry for the time being, but remember: shields (along with some cover from your fellow Helldivers) are essential when you’re parked on an emplacement for half the mission. Sitting still makes you an easy target, and those Radicals don’t need an invitation to rush your position, after all.
What’s your go-to strategy for Cyberstan? Got a loadout that turns Radicals into rubble in under ten seconds? Let us know below.
