Marvel Studios’ X-Men reboot is drawing attention following a new casting rumor. The rumor originated from a social media account that has accurately reported some Marvel-related information in the past. Nonetheless, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the claim.
According to the X account @ApocHorseman, Cailee Spaeny is reportedly set to play Rogue, Charles Melton is reportedly being considered for Beast, and Adam Driver is rumored for Mister Sinister. It has further been reported that Marvel has still not announced the casting for Storm, Professor X, and Cyclops. It has also been claimed that Cooper Hoffman is the frontrunner for the role of Cyclops.

According to recent reports, Marvel is expected to unveil the X-Men cast at D23. However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed anything related to these castings.

What the Latest Report Says About Marvel Studios’ X-Men Reboot
Marvel Studios has kept everything related to the rebooting of its X-Men franchise hush-hush; however, recent reports indicate that the reboot project is going on. Just recently, Tom Pelphrey’s name came up for the Professor X role. Interestingly, the actor previously starred in Marvel’s TV show Iron Fist.
Meanwhile, Adam Driver’s casting rumors were shut down by Marvel president Kevin Feige, stating, “It’s no secret, we would like to. But it’s a tradition to zoom with him and then he passed.” Also, Alien: Romulus actress Cailee Spaen was linked to the role of Rogue in the upcoming reboot movie.
Marvel Studios has neither confirmed any casting nor made any statement about the production start date of the reboot. The director of the reboot, Jake Schreier, has stated that talks have started regarding casting, but he advised fans not to take all the rumors posted online as true.
